Technology From Finland

Finland is a world leader in innovation with one of the highest levels of R&D expenditure in Europe – currently around 3.5% of GDP. Psi-ense is involved in bringing this technology to a wider market.

Psi-ense is a member of FinnFirst, an organisation headed by Professor Ken Taylor to maximise the potential of Finnish technology in Europe. We are currently building links with Technopolis, a consortium of seven science parks across Finland, with 1,150 companies employing over 15,000 people. FinnFirst is primarily involved in the healthcare and well being sectors and its initial focus will be on Kuopio, a leading healthcare cluster in central Finland.

Delfin Technologies
Since 2005, Psi-ense has been working with Delfin Technologies a manufacturer of skin analysis instrumentation. Delfin’s range includes instruments for measuring the transepidermal water loss (TEWL) from skin and the moisture content of different dermal layers. For full details see Delfin.
